For to us a child is born,to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.

How good it is to be able again to celebrate Christmas and to remind ourselves of these important truths – there’s so much hope in these words! Especially now, when there is so much unknown around … our certainty is Christ. And it is He who brings lasting peace to our hearts, and it is His righteousness which comforts us.

 So holding onto Jesus’ peace, we wish you all a peaceful Christmas. May it be a time of renewing your hope and strengthening your faith in the One who has loved us all so much.
